Owner of Airstream Services

My wife and I moved to Murfreesboro TN from Southern California back in 2005 in search for better opportunities and a better life for our future kids to come. Ever since I was young I’ve always had a passion for fixing everything from remote control cars to electrical circuits. It had been my dream to one day open a business to provide great customer service and ethical workmanship. In 2012 my dreams came true after many years of schooling and saving. We are now in a position to offer good, honest work for my now home town of Murfreesboro and surrounding cities. We know by providing ethical work we can develop a long term relationship with our clients instead of looking for a quick buck. My goal is to truly become your friend in the HVAC, electric and plumbing business and be your eyes in the field. We thank you in advance for keeping us in mind in the future.

The Airstream guys were great and super friendly!!! When they originally came out, we talked about all of the different options possible to install the EV charger in an aesthetically pleasing way. Once we had a game plan, they were back the day after my charger was delivered to install it Took less than 3hours, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and I was happy with the install. Thank you!!!!!!!

The work was good and the plumber they sent out was good but the pricing was extremely high. Two feet of exposed pipe replaced in less than an hour and the initial quote was over $500. Ended up at $350 which still seems on the high side, and I had to commit to a $5 a month service plan for that. I will find another plumber in the future.

Mr. Ewing Was very Professional doing the mantance on my unit. Super Friendly and came during the time slot I had chosen. Put shoe booties on Before entering my condo. Clean and well dressed young man. He represents your company very well. He answered a few questions I had with good advice,Thanks for a job well done Spencer.

This was my first Airstream plumbing service experience and it was 5 stars from start to finish. I appreciate the tracking app which not only tells me when I can expect the tech but also a photo of who to expect. Cody did a great job of explaining the problem, how it will be fixed, and what needs to be done after. He was professional and thorough. Greatly appreciated.

My experience with Airstream was outstanding. The courtesy and expertise of the staff is unmatched. They came out promptly to review the project and provide a quote. The actual work was completed very shortly afterward. There was great attention to detail, and the conduit runs were precise and flawless. Wyatt and Leo on site kept us abreast during the actual work and wouldn't leave until everything was buttoned down to our satisfaction. They have great pride in the work they do.

GUS PUGA

CEO, Owner

Gus is originally from Los Angeles, California but moved to Murfreesboro, TN in 2005 and started Airstream Services in 2012. In his spare time he enjoys listening to music, traveling and refining his business. Something most people don’t know about him is that he used to produce music. Three things on his bucket list would be to see Daft Punk in Concert (no matter where it is in the world), spend a week with the Dalai Lamas and stay in an ice hotel to watch the northern lights. He met his wife Patty at a friend’s wedding and they have been married for 10+ years. They have 4 children (Boy & girl twins in Heaven and two earth babies, boy & girl) and 2 furbaby chihuahuas who run the house!

STEVEN BLACK

Chief Operating Officer

Meet Steven, a proud Murfreesboro resident and devoted family man. Married to his wonderful wife, Steven is a loving father to his adorable daughter. Their household also includes two playful dogs and one curious cat, making for a lively home!

Before joining our team, Steven served in the Air Force for an impressive 9 years. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him casting a line at his favorite fishing spot or strumming a tune on his guitar. A big fan of “The Office,” Steven never misses an episode.

If he had to choose one meal for the rest of his life, pizza would be his top pick. Two exciting items on Steven’s bucket list are skydiving and traveling the world. With his adventurous spirit and dedication, Steven brings a unique energy to our team!

JENNIFER MATIKKE

Office Manager

Jennifer is our office manager and Gus’ right hand. She was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, but has called Murfreesboro home since 2005. She is a MTSU alumni who married her college sweetheart and they have 4 children (who you might hear in the background from time to time when you call the office). If she could eat one type of food everyday for the rest of her life it would be TACOS!!!

AARON KAMM

Plumbing Department Manager

Meet Aaron, our skilled technician from Lebanon, TN! When he’s not on the job, Aaron can be found indulging in his favorite show, “All Dispatch.” If he could eat only one thing for the rest of his life, it would be steak and lobster—talk about a gourmet choice!

Aaron’s bucket list is filled with exciting adventures: traveling to Scotland, building a barn dominium, and going shark cage diving. His hobbies include bass fishing, playing golf, and competing in tournament softball.

If Aaron could have any superpower, he’d choose x-ray vision. His favorite quote, “Everything happens for a reason,” reflects his positive and thoughtful outlook on life. At home, Aaron enjoys spending time with his little boy, Dawson, who brings endless joy to his life.

Aaron’s passion and dedication make him a fantastic addition to our team!

JARED HIGUET

Electric Department Manager

Meet Jared, our adventurous technician hailing from sunny California! Jared’s favorite part of the job? Watching baby raccoons steal people’s lunch—a hilarious and unforgettable moment.

A die-hard NFL fan, Jared would happily eat tacos every day if he had to choose just one meal. His bucket list is all about life on the water: owning a boat, taking it to the lake, and wakeboarding behind it. When he’s not dreaming about his future boat, Jared enjoys jet skiing and wakeboarding.

If he could have any superpower, Jared would choose invisibility. Despite his tough exterior, he admits to shedding a tear while watching “The Notebook.” His favorite quote, “Believe you can and you’re halfway there,” by Theodore Roosevelt, perfectly captures his optimistic outlook.

Jared is happily married and a proud father of two boys. With his fun-loving nature and dedication, Jared is a valued member of our team!

CONRAD CURIEL

Lead Maintenance Operator

Conrad is our lead maintenance operator and our main man for the shop. He helps keep everything organized in the back and our work areas clear. When old units come in he breaks them down like a silverback gorilla and sees that everything is recycled and disposed of properly. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and watching baseball. He has been married for 37+ years and has 4 grown kids.
